夏から秋にかけて本格的なUSツアーを行った。晩秋にはイギリス本国に戻り、ツアーの最後はRoyal Albert Hallでのチャリティ・イベントで締めくくった。バンドはPete、Roger、Johnに、RabbitとZakを加えた5人編成。 |

年明け、Rogerが後援しているチャリティ団体Teenage Cancer Trust（以下TCT）のイベントに出演。ウォームアップ・ギグを含む5公演を行った。そして、それがJohn最後のライブとなった。6月27日、USツアーの前日Johnが他界。2公演のみを振り替え、サポート・ベーシストPino Palladinoを入れてツアーを続行させた。バンドは、Peteの弟Simonをサポート・ギターリストとして加え6人編成に。 |

北米ツアー後、バンドとしては３年ぶりのTeenage Cancer Trustに出演。５月から７月までは29公演をこなすヨーロッパ・ツアーを行い、Glastonburyをはじめ各種フェスに出演した他、北欧も回った。 |
北米ツアーまでは2006年と同様のセットリストだったが、欧州ツアーになるとそこから新作のメドレーを外した下記のようなパターンの選曲も増えた：
